Graphic Designer

Ed is a graphic designer, who dabbles in web, motion, typography, film, music and anything else that can be bent, shaped, twisted or tuned to better fit his view of the world. He graduated from Design College Australia (DCA) as dux last year and was awarded a BAD (Brisbane Art Directors) Award and a Design Against Fur Award whilst still studying, as well as three gold website awards and a BAD nomination this year.

He works full time for Big Fish while maintaining a healthy freelance portfolio including the redesign of Tsunami Magazine earlier this year. He had his debut exhibition earlier this year at Lapart Gallery in Newstead where he exhibited a graphic novel, a photographic novel and an interactive web-page - all designed to highlight "technoart," or art work that's been built using digital technology exclusively.

Ed got into design by making flyers, posters and Album Art through Febury Records, a company developed and launched by Ed and two friends when they were 18. Over the course of two years they managed to host over 65 concerts, numerous interstate tours and , art shows, as well as signing and recording several bands, two of which had their EPs debuting at 7 and 11 on the Australian Independent Charts.
