Luke Ellis is a 25 year old Brisbane artist who is an outstanding illustrator. He has been producing artwork ever since he was old enough to pick up a pen and start drawing.

Luke primarily works with ink on paper. His work is exquisite and always rich with detail. The illustrations quite often depict subject matter taken from Luke’s own life experience. A broad range of emotions are present in the illustrations and it may be noted that the work is riddled with common re-occurring themes. These themes have developed over time to become something truly unique to the artist. Luke enjoys exploring issues of a darker nature and a wicked sense of humour is always present in his pieces. It’s difficult to do the artwork any justice in writing because the drawings really do speak for themselves. Every piece tells a story

Luke puts his heart and soul into his illustrations and as a result people often respond to the work in a special way. It’s always a real pleasure for Luke to make a connection with people who can relate to the ideas and feelings depicted in the work.
