Squid Films are a Filmer Maker duo comprised of Daley Pearson and Luke Tierney.

Daley and Luke both studied film at the Griffith Film School. In 2005 they won first place and People's Choice for 'Happenin' Town' at the 48 Hour Film Festival. In 2006 they again won the People's Choice Award and third Place for their film 'Well'.

This year the team are working on their debut feature film titled 'Squid', which follows two friends Chris (Josh Lawson) and Jess (Ed Kavalee) floating in a small paddling boatt in a seculded part of the Brisbane River who realise their friendship isn't as strong as they thought when a giant squid confronts Chris to settle a debt. The movie is in a genre of its own. The team have invented their own genre called a 'Romster Comedy', which is romantic, monster comedy. Daley and Luke wrote and will direct, produce and edit the new film, which will be shot in Brisbane starting next week.
