After four years of professional break-dancing, under-water videography, studying social science, and working as a travel medical assistant, Conan finally realised his passion for photography. He is currently in his 2nd year of a Bachelor of Photography degree at QCA with the intention of becoming a press photographer.
In 2008 an opportunity arose to accompany a team of bodyboarders to Hawaii to document their surfing over a 3 week period. Although the season held the worst conditions in years, the contacts formed and images made led to Conan being signed to Turbo Bodyboard Company as team photographer. Over the past two years Conan’s breakdancing photos have been feautured in the Australian Acclaim magazine, the US magazine JPG and Reuters World News website.
Currently Conan is working towards creating a book on break-dance culture in Australian in collaboration with hip-hop documentary film-maker Mason Rose.
