Darcy Grant is a multidisciplinary artist based in Brisbane. Darcy Grew up in far north Queensland with his parents (both visual artists) and brother and spent a lot of time living in remote indigenous communities.

At the age of twelve darcy joined the flying fruit fly circus and relocated to Albury Wodonga where he spent six years training classical circus acrobatics and skills under Russian and Chinese masters. After graduating Darcy joined Circa the Brisbane based contemporary circus company to which he still belongs today.

Imagery and design have heavily influenced the performance art Darcy has created and now it is the performance art he has created in the last 5 years at circa that is driving his unique investigation in to circus, it’s imagery and the bodies who inhabit it.
